MC is working hard to make big moves to do big things for its community. We’re renting the Rehearsal Room at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center giving us space and time to widen our programming for dancers of all ages and backgrounds, including Moving North, our new cost-free dance program for girls 10-18 years old who live in Lexington communities that experience inequity in the arts. We believe in enhancing our artistic community and economy because when the arts and artists are a priority in cities, everyone benefits. We believe in a world of options. We believe the arts are not hobbies. We know they’re necessities.

Movement Continuum is currently organizing and preparing to host The Forum, a class and performance event for dancers and organizations that serve professionally aged movers 18+, mentoring the dancers of Moving North, planning its next statewide tour performing Garden, and beginning preparations for its next original production, Traveler.

Every donation made, from $1-$1,000 creates opportunity for another artist to work in their field, a child to find their niche, and a company to create magic for their audience. You can donate anytime by choosing your own donation amount, or you can check out our “dancer support” tab to learn how to support an individual dancer of your choice. Every donation you make is tax-deductible.
