Movement Continuum Premieres New Show, Traveler

This November, Lexington's original contemporary dance company, Movement Continuum opens its 13th season work and 16th original production, Traveler. Using contemporary dance as a conduit, Traveler journeys one, continuous thread of time connecting four American women. Emily Dickinson, Nellie Bly, Zelda Fitzgerald and Vivian Maier all lived boldly, standing in their experiences and who they were without apology. As Traveler tours time, glancing across cafés, personifying lines of poetry, and creating street photographs, its audience explores facets of the female experience in America. From private lives to public art, the isolation of single rooms to crowded, city streets, from 1830 until now, how are we connected?
